FRIDAY NIGHT IS CEILIDH NIGHT

The week-end of live music kicks off with a lively Ceilidh on the Friday night to get the blood moving followed by a headline set from the renowned English Folk Duo, SHOW OF HANDS.

TWO STAGES - MUSIC OF EVERY KIND

There will be three music concerts in the Main Marquee running over the week-end the last on Sunday afternoon, headlined by STEELEYE SPAN while the Other Stage, housed in the ruins of the hall itself, will host a wall to wall programme of music throughout both afternoons and through Saturday evening into the night.

POPPING UP ALL OVER THE PLACE

Buskers of all kinds, cloggers, steel panners, and a choir will be performing at the band stand in the middle of the Craft Village where you can try out a range of crafts or buy something very special from our local artisans. There is delicious locally produced food and craft ales and the friendliest people you will meet at any festival!

ALL AGES - COME AND JOIN IN

Throughout the week-end there will also be a parallel programme of children and family friendly activities: arts and craft, music and dance, trails and hunts, storytellers, sonic sculptures, junk instrument making, fancy dress parades, face-painting, fun sports, sand and water play and stream dipping to highlight a few! The week-end will have something to suit all tastes and ages and we will also be throwing in a few unexpected events.  And remember that CHILDREN UNDER 16 ARE FREE when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.  We want to give everyone a full-on traditional festival experience and provide some great memories to take home with you!
